Bonnie Jensen, BA, BSN, MSN, RN
Interim Chief Nursing Officer
Bonnie Jensen, MSN, BSN, RN, Regional Chief Nursing Officer for Prime Region IV, is the interim CNO for Providence Medical Center. Bonnie has over 25 years of leadership experience in business and healthcare.
She first joined the Prime team in November of 2021 after leaving Sunrise Hospital, an 834-bed adult and a 224-bed women’s and children’s hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Previously, Bonnie served as Regional CNO for Ballad Health’s Northwest Virginia Market responsible for four community hospitals. Prior to that she was Regional Director of Patient Care Services for the University of Maryland Shore Regional health system for three Magnet designated hospitals and a free-standing Emergency Department.
Bonnie began her nursing career as an emergency department nurse and has worked in labor and delivery, and as a cardiac care ICU nurse. Before becoming a nurse, Bonnie was the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for a large engineering firm in Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada.
Bonnie’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing, and she is currently working toward completion of her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Healthcare Executive Leadership.
