Nick Conaty has been named the new Plant Operations Manager at Providence Medical Center. Nick has worked at Providence the past 10 years as a technician.
A graduate of Sumner Academy, Nick is a lifelong “Dotte” and is proud to work in the community he and his family reside in. Prior to working at Providence, he did maintenance at commercial buildings, such as apartment complexes. Nick has deep ties to Providence as his mother Mary was an ICU nurse at the hospital and Nick was born at Providence.
Nick said, “I look forward to supporting our team who provides high quality care for our patients, visitors and staff here as well as mentoring and welcoming new staff members to the department.”
Nick and his wife Marty have four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and smoking BBQ and working on cars. This past fall he helped coach his youngest son’s flag football team. Nick is also a big Chiefs and KU fan and enjoys watching those games.
“We appreciate Nick’s commitment and experience as he moves into his new role,” said John Fankhauser, Director of Plant Operations. “We also appreciate his dedication to the KCK community and to Providence.”
