Ribbon Cutting for Providence Urgent Care June
Kansas City, KS – May 1, 2026 – Providence Medical Center is pleased to announce the opening of Providence Urgent Care, providing convenient, walk-in care for patients on the Providence campus in Kansas City, Kansas. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Tuesday, June 16th at 8:00 am.
Located in the Providence Medical Building at 8919 Parallel Parkway, Suite 250, the new urgent care offers treatment for common illnesses, minor injuries, and sports physicals. Patients can access timely care without an appointment and benefit from on-site X-ray and laboratory services.
Providence Urgent Care is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., helping meet the healthcare needs of individuals and families when primary care appointments may not be available.
“We are excited to expand access to care for our community with the opening of Providence Urgent Care,” said Karen Orr. “Our goal is to provide expert, convenient care close to home, making it easier for patients to get the treatment they need when they need it.”
Providence Urgent Care accepts all major insurance plans. For uninsured patients, a cash-pay office visit rate of $125 is available, excluding laboratory, X-ray, and procedure fees.
