Get ready to experience the fifth annual Providence Car and Bike Show, happening on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Providence campus, located at 8929 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., in Lot D3. If you’re planning to showcase your vehicle, car and bike show entry begins at 9 a.m.

This event is completely free for spectators, making it the perfect day out for automotive enthusiasts and families alike. For participants eager to enter their vehicle into this annual “show and shine” competition, there’s a $10 registration fee per car, payable at the door—no preregistration required. Be one of the first 150 entrants to receive a complimentary event t-shirt with your paid registration.

Food Trucks at Providence Car and Bike Show

No car show is complete without great food, and this year we’ve got you covered with three fantastic food trucks: Marcy’s Food Truck, Christy’s Tenderloin, and Black Iron Eatery. Plus, Grounded Mobile Coffee will be serving up your favorite brews to keep you fueled throughout the morning. Whether you’re craving something savory or a quick caffeine fix, there’s something for everyone.

Entertainment at Providence Car and Bike Show

The entertainment lineup promises fun for all ages! Enjoy live music from local favorite Acoustic Nights, and don’t miss the TNR Farms Petting Zoo, which is sure to delight both kids and adults. The first 150 families to arrive will receive a free pumpkin, perfect for seasonal decorating. We’ll also have talented balloon and face painting artists on site, and kids will love exploring the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department truck. Plus, numerous vendors will be showcasing their products, adding even more excitement to the event. Providence Car and Bike Show Proceeds Benefit Share Fund

Proceeds from the Car Show will benefit the Providence Share Fund, which supports Providence patients and staff facing financial hardships. This fund provides critical assistance, such as supplying food to patients recovering from illness, covering immediate medication needs after hospital discharge, and helping employees with unexpected car repairs or utility bills. Through these efforts, the Share Fund enhances the quality of life for those in the Kansas City community.

Health Information and Job Opening Info to be available at Providence Car and Bike Show

A host of health information will be available at this year’ s year’s showing, including heart healthy living, hands-only-cpr demonstrations, wound care information, pain center and rehabilitation information. In addition, the Providence Human Resources team will be at the show providing job openings.

This is the fifth year for the annual event, being held on Saturday, Oct. 5th in the Providence D3 Parking Lot. In 2023, more than 160 cars and bikes were entered.

The Providence Car and Bike Show was first offered outside in the fall of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic; 75 cars showed up that first year, which was also the 100th Anniversary of Providence Medical Center. Since then, local car enthusiasts have enjoyed the convenient location and fun atmosphere.
