Karen Orr

CEO

In her position as CEO, Karen Orr oversees all functions of the hospital. Orr has more than 20 years of experience in a wide range of leadership and nursing positions.

She was previously the Chief Nursing Officer, where she patient care services including nursing, nursing education, pharmacy and clinical informatics at Providence.

Past roles for Orr have included staff nurse in Oncology; Clinical supervisor, Oncology and Med Surgical; Operations and Research specialist, Joint and Spine Center; Director Joint, Spine and Surgical Acute; Director of Education and; Director of Palliative Care.

Orr received a Master’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in business from University of Mary; and her Associates degree in Nursing from Kansas City Kansas Community College.
