Shellie Thalacker has been named as our new Regional Patient Access & Hospital Communications/PBX Director for Providence Medical Center and Saint John Hospital.
She comes to Prime MOKAN from the Genesis Health System where she served as an ACO/Population Health Program Manager. Previously she held Patient Access and Hospital Communication leadership roles at UnityPoint Health, in Iowa.
Shellie has a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Western Governors University (WGU) and is finishing a Master of Business, Healthcare from WGU. Shellie is a credentialed EPIC trainer.
One goal in her new position is to support and encourage best practices and standards in the hospital and revenue cycle. In addition, overall patient experience is important, and she hopes to promote high quality during the entire process.
“Providing a high-quality interaction from start to finish, for every patient, every time is my personal goal.” Shellie said. “Our team is so critical as a face for the organization and from intake to discharge we all have a unique opportunity to provide the best possible experience.”
Shellie and her husband David have two adult children. Shellie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and traveling. Two favorites included visits to New York City and Washington, DC.
