Providence is inviting the community to “drive on over” and help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Providence Medical Center Saturday, Oct. 3, outside on the hospital campus in parking lots A and A3. A Show and Shine Car Show and other fun outdoor activities will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Show and Shine Car Show, which opens at 9 a.m. for car registration, is free for spectators to enjoy; a $10 registration entry fee for each car paid at the door receives a t-shirt. Sponsors will present Top Car Awards and Prizes. All car entries receive a Participant Award.

A BBQ Contest will be held at the celebration also. There is no entry fee for this contest. Three slabs of ribs will be provided per team. Advance registration is required for the BBQ Contest by emailing Jerry Boswell jboswell@primehealthcare.com to sign up prior to Sept. 25.

- Food Trucks
- Wide-open Pumpkin Patch for the kids
- HEALTH Screenings
- Cartoon carricature arist
- Live music from Acoustic Nights and KCKCC Jazz department
- Learn about the new Catholic Charities Community Farm (south of lot A3)
- Check out where the new Central Care Cancer Center will be built on the Providence campus
