Central Care Cancer Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Sashi Manthravadi has joined the medical oncology clinic at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, along with Dr. Leo and Radiation Oncologists Dr. Luu and Dr. Perez-Tamayo.
President of Central Care Cancer Center, Dr. Perez-Tamayo said, “We’re excited to have Dr. Manthravadi join Central Care Cancer Center. We will be able to provide every advantage in cancer care to the community. Both radiation and medical oncology are available with the latest in technology and medications. When undergoing cancer treatment, your health is a priority. Anything taxing, including traveling, will be detrimental to your outcome. We are here, available to serve any patient’s needs. Dr. Manthravadi completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He recently graduated from the Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Manthravadi is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and American Society of Hematology (ASH).
Dr. Manthravadi stated, “I am delighted to join the team at Central Care Cancer Center and Providence Medical Center. Having lived in Kansas City for the last 6 years, I’ve developed a bond with this city. I am very happy to serve this community. Cancer care is multifaceted and multidisciplinary. It often requires the expertise of several specialists and support personnel during the cancer journey. The development of new therapies in Hematology and Medical Oncology are unprecedented. I look forward to utilizing my education, training and experience of these new powerful tools at Central Care Cancer Center, revolutionizing positive outcomes that we are seeing as a result of these medications”.
Central Care Cancer Center is happy to provide state-of-the-art oncological services to the Providence Medical Center community. Future plans for Central Care Cancer Center include building a free-standing, comprehensive oncology care clinic on the Providence Medical campus. It will include an out-patient pharmacy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, financial counseling and other supportive services all under one roof.
