In partnership with Providence Medical Center, Swope Health is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Moore, MD to the Women’s Services team at Swope Health Wyandotte.
Dr. Moore has practiced obstetrics and gynecology for the past eight years and has extensive expertise in women’s care including obstetrics prenatal care, gynecology, infertility, bleeding disorder, laparoscopic surgery and bladder incontinence.
“The majority of our patients at Wyandotte are uninsured, including our pregnant patients,” said Dr. Jennifer Frost, Interim Chief Medical Officer at Swope Health. “Many of our OB-GYN patients have high risk conditions, but are unable to afford specialty care. We are grateful that Dr. Moore will provide his expertise without additional cost to the patients.”
Dr. Moore received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
“Providing care where it’s needed most is our shared goal,” said Dr. Moore. The partnership that Providence and Swope Health has forged will help care for Wyandotte County’s most vulnerable women and expectant mothers.
Dr. Moore will practice on a part-time basis at Swope Health Wyandotte.
